Dash by Wonder Workshop is an exciting, hands-on learning tool for students in primary school.
Targeted at teaching creative problem-solving, coding, and robotics, Dash gives every student a head start on fundamental STEM principles and 21st-century skills. Students send commands to the robot to move them, light them up, and have them detect the world around them using 5 free coding and robotics applications available on iPad and Android tablets.
Key areas covered: Computational thinking: Analyse problems and design algorithms to program robot actions and reactions using Blockly and Wonder, visual coding languages. Maths: Explore concepts like the number line, geometry, angles, distance, time, and variables. Creative writing and the arts: Explore storytelling, drawing, and even music.
Dash the Robot is now controllable via Apple’s latest SWIFT Playgrounds app. This offers an additional opportunity of using our robots to learn and teach coding in a fun and engaging way.
