Experiments with 4 Pulleys
Four pulleys (2 equal and two different in diameter) are mounted on a base in such a way that they rotate freely. The student can connect any 2 pulleys with a rubber band and achieve motion transmission. Observations on the direction of rotation can be made. Turning the pulley once, we notice how many turns the one connected to it makes. (This can be done more easily by marking a beam on each pulley with a marker).
