Plastic and Multisurface Primer Spray 400ml - Minos

PLASTIC & MULTI SURFACE PRIMER is a specially formulated high quality, super strong primer for plastic surfaces. It presents excellent surface adhesion properties and prepares surfaces for painting with most topcoats. It is also suitable for aluminium, galvanized and inox surfaces. Dries fast, corrects imperfections of the substrate and improves adhesion and appearance of topcoat. Can be recoated with most lacquers and enamels such as alkyd, nitro, acrylic etc (suitability test is recommended).

APPLICATIONS

• Priming plastic surfaces prior to the application of the topcoat, ensuring excellent adhesion of the paint. It is suitable for most types of polypropylene, polystyrene, vinyl, fiberglass, PVC etc.
• It is ideal for priming aluminium, galvanized and inox surfaces, ensuring excellent adhesion of the topcoat.

SURFACE PREPARATION

1. The surface should be clean, dry and free from grease.
2. Use a cleaning solvent such as Dil - 5077 or nitro solvent prior to application.
3. Lightly sand the surface if needed.

APPLICATION

1. Before use, shake the can for 2 minutes and spray a sample.
2. Before use, shake the aerosol for 2 minutes and spray a sample.
3. Mask areas that you don't want to be painted.
4. Apply in a thin layer on the surface to be treated from a distance of 25-30cm. Shake the can during application. Do not apply a heavy coat or multiple coats.
5. Leave to dry. Touch dry usually 10 -15 minutes at 20oC.
6. Proceed with top coat when primed surface is completely dry.

The drying time depends on the ambient temperature, the humidity of the air and the thickness of the layer applied.
